Creamy avocado adds a velvety texture, and semi-soft-boiled eggs make the whole thing exceptionally delicate. The intense flavor of tuna in olive oil goes perfectly with dill and a subtle hint of lemon, which emphasizes the freshness of the salad. The whole is topped with black cumin, which gives the dish a slightly spicy character. The tuna salad with egg can be served solo, as a light snack, but it also tastes great with a crispy baguette, whole-grain bread or garlic croutons. Tuna salad and avocado can also be served as an addition to grilled fish or roasted poultry.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pack of corn salad
  2. 3 eggs, semi-soft-boiled
  3. 1 red onion
  4. 1 ripe avocado
  5. 0.5 bunch of fresh dill
  6. 1 can of tuna in olive oil
  7. 0.5 lemons
  8. 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  9. 1 teaspoon white sesame
  10. salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. The arugula should be rinsed thoroughly under running water and then dried, preferably using a paper towel or a salad spinner. If the leaves are larger, they can be gently torn into smaller pieces.

  2. Place the eggs in a pot of boiling water and cook for about 7 minutes to get a semi-soft yolk. Once cooked, immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process. Then carefully peel them and cut them in half.

  3. The red onion should be peeled and cut into thick strips so that it does not dominate the salad with flavor, but only gives it a slightly spicy note, it should be sprinkled with lemon juice, salted and set aside to marinate for a while. The avocado should be cut in half, the seed removed, and then the flesh cut into thin slices or cubes. The dill should be thoroughly washed and cut so that its large pieces are clearly noticeable.

  4. In a large bowl, arrange the corn salad, dill, then evenly distribute the sliced avocado, onion with lemon juice. Add the tuna with olive oil from the can. Mix everything gently so that the ingredients are evenly distributed, but at the same time do not crush the delicate lettuce leaves.

  5. Place halved eggs on top of the salad, then sprinkle with lemon. Finally, sprinkle with sesame seeds, which will add a distinctive flavor and interesting texture to the salad.
