- 1 large head of romaine lettuce
- 1 small radicchio
- 2 cans of tuna in olive oil
- 1 red onion
- 1 fresh cucumber
- 1 can of corn
- 0.5 lemons
- A handful of black olives
- Salt and pepper to taste
Dressing
- Olive oil from drained tuna
- Juice from half a lemon
Instructions
The romaine head should be washed thoroughly under running water, then dried and torn into smaller pieces. The same should be done with the radicchio.
Red onion should be peeled and cut into thin slices. Fresh cucumber should be washed, dried and then cut into slices. If the skin is very hard, it can be partially peeled.
The cans of tuna should be opened and the olive oil should be drained, reserving it for the sauce. The tuna itself should be gently broken apart with a fork into smaller pieces and transferred to a bowl. The canned corn should be drained in a sieve and added to the other ingredients. The black olives should be cut in half or left whole, depending on your preference.
Pour the olive oil left from the tuna into a small bowl, it will give the salad a unique aroma. Then add the juice squeezed from half a lemon and mix thoroughly. You can season the whole thing with salt and pepper to taste.
All prepared ingredients should be transferred to a large bowl and gently mixed. Then, sprinkle everything with the previously prepared sauce and gently mixed again so that the flavors are evenly distributed.
