Recipe for eggs stuffed with ham
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 150 g ham
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of chives
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in cold water. Once cooked, place the eggs in cold water to cool. Gently remove the shells from the cooled eggs, and cut each egg lengthwise into two equal halves with a sharp knife.
Carefully remove the yolks from the whites and place them in a bowl. Mash them with a fork until there are no lumps left. Add the finely chopped ham, previously cut into small cubes, and the chopped chives to the mashed yolks. Set some of the ham and chives aside to use for decoration.
Add mayonnaise to the prepared mass, which will give the filling a creamy consistency. Mix all ingredients thoroughly to obtain a uniform and smooth mass. Season the filling with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste, mixing again so that the spices are evenly distributed.
Place the prepared filling in half of the egg whites, filling them evenly with a small spoon. Decorate the finished eggs with the reserved pieces of ham and chives. Chill the prepared eggs in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving, so that the flavors can blend better and the filling can take on the right consistency.
