Ingredients for the dough
- 4 eggs
- 200 g butter
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 150 g cake flour
- 100 g potato flour
- 100g milk chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation of chocolate cake
Melt the butter in a saucepan and let cool to room temperature. Using a mixer, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Mix flour, potato flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Add the mixture to the beaten eggs and mix gently with a whisk or on low speed of a mixer until a uniform dough is obtained. Pour in the butter and continue mixing. Cut the chocolate into small pieces and add to the dough.
Transfer the dough to a buttered and breadcrumb or floured baking tin. Bake the cake at 170°C for 45 minutes (until a toothpick comes out clean). After baking, cool in the tin and then carefully remove.
Decorate with powdered sugar.
