  5. a pinch of salt
  6. 1 tablespoon of spirit

For frying

  1. 1 l of oil

  1. 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Preparation of the dough

  2. Scoop the flour into the center and knead the dough into a uniform ball, knead for about 10 minutes. The dough must be uniform.

Rolling and frying angel wings

  1. Divide the dough into two parts and roll them out into thin pancakes. The rolled dough should be almost transparent, the thinner the raw angel wings are, the crispier they will be after frying.

  2. Cut the rolled dough into irregular strips about 3 cm wide, 10 cm long. Make a cut in the middle and thread one end through, giving it the shape of a angel wings. Prepare the remaining dough in the same way. Before you start frying, all the raw faworki should be prepared, because frying only takes a moment.

  3. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan to 180°C and fry the angel wings in batches, about 30 seconds on each side, until golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Snow blanket

  1. Once the faworki have cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar, preferably using a fine sieve.
